Hello SLOCA Families,
We want to bring your attention to a notification we just received that a student on Intermediate Track B has been diagnosed with a case of modified chicken pox. This student was vaccinated against the infection as a young child. The student's doctor indicated that
95% of children that have been vaccinated against chickenpox will not contract the virus. This leaves the 5% that will....or 1 in 20. Please take any necessary precautions, especially if anyone in your family has a compromised immune system.
